Hospitality – Experienced Server

Established in 1897, the Calgary Golf & Country Club is Western Canada’s premier private members’ golf, recreation, and social club. Centrally located on the banks of the Elbow River just 5 km south of downtown Calgary, we offer our members the highest standard of facilities, programs and services. Responsibilities

  • Provide a positive and exceptional experience promptly with superior attention to detail
  • Be knowledgeable about all menu items to make recommendations and answer questions
  • Knowledgeable about each function, knowing what is being offered, as well as the general timing of events
  • Assist co-workers as necessary to provide outstanding service
  • Assist with room set-up and tear-down, in addition to other cleaning responsibilities
  • Follow all opening and closing procedures ensuring all areas are tidy and organized
  • Complete opening, closing and side duties accurately and efficiently
  • Follow all policies, procedures and safety guidelines, to ensure responsible service

Qualifications

  • 1 -2 years of related serving experience is a MUST
  • Both dining room and banquet experience are considered an asset
  • Previous customer service experience with outstanding attention to detail
  • Must be a team player who is willing to provide an exceptional experience to our membership and guests
  • ProServe certification
  • Must be able to work morning, day and night shifts as required
